Is this official IELTS?
No. It is independent practice material, not affiliated with or endorsed by the IELTS Partners. IELTS® is a registered trademark of British Council, IDP Education and Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Nothing here is a qualification.
How accurate is the AI band score?
Treat it as a guide, not a result. It is consistent, which makes it useful for seeing whether you are improving, but a real band comes from a trained examiner. Reading and Listening are converted from your raw score using a widely used table — IELTS adjusts that conversion for each paper and does not publish it, so even those are close rather than exact.
Can my teacher read my essays?
No. Your drafts, answers and recordings stay in your browser. Your teacher sees which plan you are on and how much AI marking you have used — not your work. The exception is anything you deliberately send: feedback and reviews reach them with the email address you sent them from.
Where does my writing go when I ask for feedback?
To Anthropic, who run the AI that marks it, at the moment you press the button — and nowhere else. It is not sent while you type and it is not stored for training. The privacy page lists every service that receives anything.
Do you guarantee a band score?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. Your result depends on your work and on one morning nobody here controls. What is promised is honest marking and a clear answer to “what should I fix next?”
What happens when my monthly AI checks run out?
Everything except the AI marking keeps working — tests, results, the mistake lab, your progress. The allowance starts again on the first of the month, or you can ask about moving up a plan.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Listening tests need sound, and writing a full Task 2 essay is more comfortable on a keyboard, but nothing is blocked on a phone.
Are the listening tests played once, like the real exam?
In strict mode, yes — that is the point of it. Practice mode lets you pause, rewind and replay, and highlight the text, but those attempts are kept out of your band estimate.
What if I change device?
Turn on private sync and your results, mistakes and vocabulary follow you. Drafts and recordings do not — they stay on the device where you made them.
Can I get my money back?
Within seven days, in full, no reason needed. After that, unused whole months. The refunds page has the detail.
How do I reach a human?
The contact details are shown inside the platform, on your account page and wherever you hit a limit. Telegram gets the fastest answer.
